I'm pretty satisfied with this week, as I've been able to make several trips to the gym (and having just gotten back from one of them). One caveat of this is that I haven't attended many Crew practices because of the lack of sleep I'm getting. However, I am still very happy that this past week has definitely one of my better recently, and I am starting to feel better about my health. While I do not see any differences, I definitely feel it in day-to-day living.
I hope that I can keep this momentum up.

Morning Crew practices have been much more tiring than I expected. While I do have free afternoons now, I'm finding that I'm either exhausted, swamped with homework, or busy with brother meetings. Since I was not on the roster for practice today, I was able to fit in a little time at the gym. Even so, one day out of the week is not nearly as much as I would like.
As of Thursday, however, Crew has stopped going on the river for the winter season. Instead, we will be on rowing machines as well as conditioning and weight lifting. If I am not able to fit gym sessions in after classes, I feel that this will be a great way to stay fit and build muscle.

It's been difficult to fit the gym into my schedule with the amount of brother meetings I've been having and the schoolwork picking up. I was able to go one day this week, but in general, I'm finding it hard to find any time in the day.
Starting next week, however, Crew practices will be in the mornings instead of the afternoons. Provided that I am getting enough sleep, this will allow me to use the afternoons to go to the gym on top of the morning crew practices.

I'm sad to say that I've barely gone to the gym at all this week. Even with finals over, I found that pledging took up a bulk of my time this. Between class and brother meetings, I've been finding it difficult to stick to a regular meal schedule, let alone find time to workout. However, I am still attending Crew practice almost every day and it is definitely helping me remain active despite my busy schedule.
I think that if I can start making going to the gym as regular a time commitment as attending Crew practices, that I will be able to improve my habits for the future.

Having traveled to New York this weekend and having just finished a week of finals, it was definitely a challenge fitting the gym into my schedule, but I have managed to go almost every day. I am still lifting the same amount of weight as before but with less fatigue.
I'm definitely noticing that regular physical activity is increasing my overall ability to stay awake and attentive throughout the day and I would highly recommend adding a gym routine to any daily schedule.

Over the past week, I've been to the gym a total of four times. Although this is still not as much as I'd like to, it is definitely an improvement over the last week. I've been alternating working biceps and triceps one day and working chest and shoulders the next, along with other various workouts.
I think that the intensity of my workouts is lacking because I'm not finding enough time to allocate at the gym. Hopefully, with more time management, I will be able to improve on this for next week.

Rather than go to the gym for a general workout like I used to do, I've started targeting individual muscle groups during trips. Although I've only managed to go to the gym three times over the past week, I've worked out my biceps, triceps, shoulders, and chest (in that order). Also, I think I've been slightly more conscious of my diet and the amount of fatty foods that I am eating.
My goal for the next week is to go to the gym more frequently.

From this point onwards, I would like to devote 20% of my time to fitness and improving my personal health. Throughout my childhood, I've been blessed with a high metabolism so I've never had to concern myself with how much I ate or how little I exercised. Throughout that time, I know that I've developed several bad habits such as eating right before sleeping and walking as little as possible from place to place. As I get older, I know that my metabolism will slow down, and these seemingly harmless bad habits will become detrimental.
In that vein, I have several quantifiable goals that I would like to accomplish. First, I would like to reach a bodyweight of 150 pounds, but I would like to do so through muscle and not fat. Additionally, I would like to be able to bench my bodyweight a minimum of 8 times in one set.
There are a lot of exercises that I've never even tried doing, so along the process, I hope to develop more goals as well.
